What sets us apart?

We focus less on the packaging and more on the quality of the product. All that posh logo, fancy packaging, cool dudes in bespoke aprons, beards and tattoos, just isn’t us. We do have a few beards and tattoos around the place, but to be honest they’re a bit of a poor show, and Debbie’s a bit shy.

What grind do I choose?

Depending on how you like to enjoy your coffee changes the grind that fits best. We offer different grinds so that the coffee is just right for your cafetiere, Aeropress or whatever innovative gadget is invented next. Click ‘Grind Guide’ to find what grind your beans should be. P.s If you're reading this on the ‘teas’ page then this will be no use but hopefully it'll get you a point on a pub quiz somewhere!

Who are we?

Well we're definitely not those posh blokes in fancy aprons, lifting their pinkies and drinking coffee, that's for sure. What is us though, is producing great coffee in a Black Bag. That’s what we do really well, and have done for a long time. And we say good because we had a look around and apparently everyone seems to say our coffee is great, or fantastic, or exceptional, or extraordinary. Well, obviously that’s for you to decide. So why not try something without all the fuss and experience no-nonsense good coffee?

Just pop it into the kitchen cupboard when not needed. It requires no power, just gravity! and comes with a scoop, stirrer, the coffee maker itself and paper filters. No training required!

If you think that anything beyond Nescafé is "posh", think again: brands of ground coffee from supermarkets just won't do. Coffee that is readily available on the shelves of supermarkets at any time of the year is often terrible. Buy our coffee and at least you know who roasted it and when it was roasted.

An extra one for the office.

Having been a long time Aeropress user, I’ve bought two this year. One to replace a old one at home that’s starting to crack after literally years of daily abuse, and recently a second to use in the office. I keep coming back to Black Back Coffee Co. not just because they’re local to me (though I appreciable that too) but also for the bonus coffee sample.
The aeropress is such a quick, clean portable way to brew, with minimal fuss but beautiful smooth coffee every time. Flexible to suit taste as to whether you do a ‘standard’ brew or the inverted method.
I should be on commission for the number of these I’ve persuaded friends and family to buy!

And rest assured, despite some nonsense out on social media, both aeropresses I’ve purchased came with the (supposedly discontinued) funnel, which is good, as it’s very handy for small aperture mugs/flasks etc.

What are you waiting for. Stop reading and buy one. You can thank me later.

Absolutely brilliant!

Got one of these for my daughter, tried her coffee, and loved the taste so I asked for one of my own for a gift. Delicious, quick, small; what's not to like? Just one comment is that I had a bit of trouble getting the bottom hooked in properly, but that was easily solved by putting the coffee grounds in after attaching the filter. Highly recommend!

Great coffee maker

Aeropress makes the best coffee ever, in my opinion. There's no burnt, scorched taste, just a complex, rounded, delicious coffee. It's also really portable, ideal for motorhomes and travel. Add the metal filter, it's really good. Fast delivery from this company, and it was well priced

I use the inverted method to make coffee, and what a great coffee it is!!

Hi Dave - me too. Aeropress and Aeropress Go are so easy to use and give that espresso style drink which you can top up with hot water. I also use a metal filter as I'm clumsy and the papers blow away in the wind ;-) do come back for coffee when you are ready. We roast 6am daily!
