Big Bodied. Earthy Nutter.
Without doubt, the quintessential coffee. All others walk in its shadow. Earthy, rustic with a full body and bags of ripe fruit and cocoa, Ethiopian Djimmah’s character is as unique as its natural habitat. Growing at an altitude of 1200-1800m above sea level, sheltered from the midday sun by surrounding forest and trees which preserves moist soil structures, the plants find themselves in a near perfect environment. This makes the Djimmah plant one of the most sort after types of Ethiopian coffee

About the beans
Characterised by bitter-sweetness, and dominated by fruit and floral aromas, a delicious nutty after taste with clear chocolate-spicy notes, Ethiopian Djimmah Arabica, is as richly flavourful as it the place it originates from.
Grown and picked in the Uplands of Ethiopia, Mocha Djimmah coffee beans are widely accepted as the oldest variety of Arabica coffee beans in the world.
They are delicately roasted to create a delectable coffee with an invigorating acidity along with a rich hint of spice.
Made with 100% Arabica this is the perfect gentle blend. Its hand roasted for around eleven minutes until the first “cracks” appear in the bean.
