What sets us apart?

We focus less on the packaging and more on the quality of the product. All that posh logo, fancy packaging, cool dudes in bespoke aprons, beards and tattoos, just isn’t us. We do have a few beards and tattoos around the place, but to be honest they’re a bit of a poor show, and Debbie’s a bit shy.

What grind do I choose?

Depending on how you like to enjoy your coffee changes the grind that fits best. We offer different grinds so that the coffee is just right for your cafetiere, Aeropress or whatever innovative gadget is invented next. Click ‘Grind Guide’ to find what grind your beans should be. P.s If you're reading this on the ‘teas’ page then this will be no use but hopefully it'll get you a point on a pub quiz somewhere!

Who are we?

Well we're definitely not those posh blokes in fancy aprons, lifting their pinkies and drinking coffee, that's for sure. What is us though, is producing great coffee in a Black Bag. That’s what we do really well, and have done for a long time. And we say good because we had a look around and apparently everyone seems to say our coffee is great, or fantastic, or exceptional, or extraordinary. Well, obviously that’s for you to decide. So why not try something without all the fuss and experience no-nonsense good coffee?

Get the Iconic V60 with plenty of coffee in a value bundle. The V60 is our recommended way to make fab coffee at home if want minimum cost. We will grind the coffee so you just have to pop in approx. three teaspoons of coffee. Its easy to use, clean and store.

The stainless conical dripper uses a fine mesh to filter the coffee & so you dont need to buy separate paper filters. Just pop in the coffee and the water and let gravity do its thing! This creates a better crema than paper filters allow. When you are dont just rinse the filter under the tap and do not wash with detergent as the oils are good oils!

Great coffee & service

Really good bit of kit and much better than having to keep buy paper filters. Coffee tastes lovely and comes is great packaging. Quick delivery I will definitely be ordering from them again. Would highly recommend!

These guys are my usual coffee provider now. The Double A variety is my current favourite, although every bag I’ve ordered has been excellent.

I bought the V60 kit recently and the coffee seemed a bit watery, so contacted customer services. Within minutes, I got a reply from a real person (hi James!) who apologised and was so keen to get to the bottom of the issue that he asked me to take a phone video of the coffee brewing through the V60 filter! He quickly identified that I needed a finer grind of coffee, apologised for any inconvenience and promptly sent me a replacement bag. What’s more, he even followed up after the new coffee had arrived, to ensure all was well.
