The Gunpowder tea leaves are withered, steamed, rolled, and then dried. The shiny larger pearls and vibrant colour creates an aromatic infusion. One teaspoon of Gunpowder is recommended for every 150 ml of water and the optimal brewing temperature is between 70°C and 80°C.

Our Gunpowder loose leaf Green Tea is steamed, pan fried, and dried. Green tea is a type of tea made from Camellia Sinensis leaves and buds that have not undergone the same withering and oxidation process used to make black teas.
DO NOT USE BOILING WATER on any GREEN tea as it will make it taste bitter.
